Charity Warm-up Party, Thursday, 3. October

Creative Hub, Põhja puiestee 27a, Tallinn

This is the first time such an event is taking place at the forum. It is a great opportunity to meet your fellow Lions and Leos in a non-formal environment and spend some good time together. The Lions international board will also be present. Our hosts for all of the days at the forum, Anu Välba will run the night, DJ and ensemble Funkifize with guest-vocalists will entertain and make you dance.

Lions Parade, Friday 4.October

From Sokos Hotel Viru to Alexela Concert Hall

A joint parade of all the participating Lions and Leos from Sokos Hotel Viru to the Alexela Concert Hall (500 meters). Wear your national costumes and colors and bring along your flags! Lions EF 2019 organizers will provide each delegation with their national flag that will be carried to the stage after the parade.

Opening Ceremony and Host Night, Friday 4.October

Lions Europa Forum Opening and Closing Ceremony concept is based on a goal to introduce Lions charity activities in Estonia by presenting our country. We will show the beautiful nature of Estonia and how its culture connects to Europe. Musical program consists of compositions created by best known composers in Europe with focus on composers who integrate Estonian Folk music and primeval rhythms into their creations. Hence the choice of artists: Estonian Voices, Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt and Rein Rannap. This list of artists enables a diverse musical experience, modern in symbiosis with primeval rhythms: Estonian Voices. Uniquely Estonian and powerful: Veljo Tormis, beautiful chamber music Arvo Pärt, Rock’n’roll and epic: Rein Rannap. Interior design emphasises Estonian nature. Musical design by Sander Mölder.

Gala Night, Saturday 5.October

Seaplane Harbour Vesilennuki 6, Tallinn

19:00-23:00

The day will be concluded with the most elegant night – the Gala Night at the Seaplane Harbour. We promise you a magical night with good music, delicious cuisine and unforgettable company. And if you have never danced under a real submarine – now is the chance! Music by DJ, ensemble Swingers and Elena Nechayeva.

Closing Ceremony, Sunday 6.October

Alexela Concert Hall, Estonia pst 9, Tallinn

Musical program consists of core composers of European music: Beethoven, Mozart and Bach and their creations are rearranged and modernised by current and modern Estonian composers. End result is classical music in modern and innovative arrangement presented on technological instruments and machines – that’s what Estonians are doing with Europe. Interior design inspired by technology and E-Estonia achievements.
